What is Display Advertising?

Display advertising (banner advertising) is a form of advertising which uses visuals to communicate the ad’s message. These visuals can be images, videos or HTML5 ads.

Why is Display Advertising important?

Display advertising allows an advertiser to showcase their product and brand visually. Using display ads helps the advertiser promote their message or brand visually. Additionally, display ads allow an advertiser to reach potential customers who are not yet looking for the advertiser’s products/category. In contrast, search ads are only shown when a person is already considering a product in that category.
